School Closings and Late Starts

As we enter the time of year for inclimate weather, there may be days that Zion Lutheran School is either closed or has a late start.  Under most circumstances, Zion will follow suit with the Kearney Public School system and do as they do.  However, there have been times where we have not - to be sure whether or not Zion will be starting late or cancelling school - always check this website first for the most current and accurate information.  We do post our schedule changes with the local television and radio stations as well, but since Zion is at the end of the alphabet, our name is often missed or overlooked.  So check here first to be sure!

Great Events!

National Geographic Bee

Its time for the annual National Geographic Bee!  Zion students in grades 5-8 will be competing for the title of school champion and the chance to compete at the state level.  The competition will take place tomorrow, Dec. 16 at 1:00pm in the church fellowship hall.  Any one interested is welcome to watch the event!
